Unoaked Lake Erie Chardonnay
This plain or "naked" style of Chardonnay is popular in Canada and is now starting to gain recognition here. This wine is somewhat lighter than its traditional oaked cousin, and has a tiny bit of sweetness to boot! Pairs well with seafood, John specifically recommends "big shrimpies stuffed with crab meat."
